Strength to endure, wisdom to succeed
It’s the end of the day and you’re exhausted, worrying that you didn’t get anything accomplished. You wonder, what’s the use? Or who am I kidding, I can’t do this. These are all thoughts from the enemy and it’s a tactic he’s relentless in using. Now it’s time to fight! Fight like the apostle Paul, throughout our daily lives. 1 Timothy 6:12 (AMP) 12Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses.
God gives us the strength to endure everything the devil throws at us. But, we have to take action. We cannot take on Satan on our own. We must use the weapons of warfare that Paul used. Ephesians 6:11 (AMP) 11Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. When you combine the weapons from Ephesians 6:10-18 with the wisdom from God you will no longer feel beat up, or ill equipped to accomplish what you are destined to do.
If strength from God gives us the ability to fight against the enemy, wisdom from God will always lead you to His best. Solomon said it best in Proverbs 4:6-9: (paraphrased)
- Wisdom will keep, defend and protect you. By acquiring wisdom she will guard you.
- With wisdom get understanding, discernment, comprehension, and interpretation. When you receive wisdom things become clearer.
- Prize wisdom highly. When you obtain wisdom it brings you honor.
- Wisdom will bring you a crown of beauty and glory. Having it will bring you closer to God.
We have no reason to not keep going, to not keep trying, to not remain faithful to the end. For we have the strength to endure, and we can have the wisdom to succeed, if we take action! Guard yourself with the weapons of warfare and seek Godly wisdom in everything you do. Then you will see the blessings flow and peace will fill your heart.
